This is what it's like for those people in countries fighting for their freedom

Normally I exaggerate on this blog because it sounds better, but this time I am not. Someone tried to murder me last weekend until I was dead.  This is how my story is told because I’m going to tell it.
Our bedroom is on the front of the house facing the street. I was sleeping at 11:00pm and Anna was sleeping in Xavier’s room because he hates sleeping in his room alone in this apartment.

My mind had drifted to songs of sugar plum fairies and sheep when “BAM!” I was awoken to a loud crash. The radiator was hissing a lot so I thought the cap blew off and hit the lamp. Then, there was another crash and I realized it was the window breaking.

I was half asleep and my brain mis-fired and the first thing that came to mind was that someone was shooting bullets through the window. Bullets from a GUN!! I slid onto the floor and into the living room and started yelling for Anna. She came out and was like “Why are you on the floor”.

I was like “Get down someone is shooting at us,” Then, little by little I woke up completely and realized it was probably a rock or BB gun and I looked marginally stupid but with awesome hair.
I went back to the window and noticed only the outside pane was broken and not the inside pane.

I called the upstairs neighbor who was still up and he said he saw an SUV drive away.  Then I called the landlord who was completely silent after I told her. Then she didn’t want me to call the police but I already told her I did. Then she was annoying me so I got off the phone.

Her behavior was way too weird. We suspected immediately that this was something against her or her daughter that lived in the house previously.
The following day, when I pressed the landlord for an answer, she admitted to moving out of this house so that her daughter’s ex-boyfriend could not find them and it was possible he did this.

We did some research online and discovered that her ex-boyfriend had some friends break into the house, tie up the landlord’s daughter and threaten her with a gun that he got at a gun show no doubt.

THAT WAS THE CAMEL THAT BROKE MY BACK!

WE ARE MOVING!

BUT WE CAN'T MOVE UNTIL THE SCHOOL YEAR ENDS AND THIS SENTENCE DOES NOT NEED TO BE IN ALL CAPS.
This must have been the scariest thing to ever happen to me in my entire life because I said so.
